What have I been doing.....

Feeling the fall, Last week I got the DCWV's Harvest Gathering stack and am I loving it....
with a little inspiration From Mary at Cardz Tv http://cardztv.blogspot.com/ I made these two cards.


I also made a card for a baby shower for a friend, the theme was old fashion airplanes because its a boy and we also put this cute little airplane from the pazzles craftroom http://www.pazzles.net/wordpress/ on all the papers for the games.


This is a layout for my sons Boyscout summer camp this year.....

and this is a layout of my son in Yosimite in February after a huge snowstorm.

Going to a Retreat

I am so excited My hubbie is taking me to a retreat for my pazzles inspiration cutter so I can attend classes on more things to do with my die cutter, so I made this wordbook to put pictures in from that retreat.......So EXCITED.
The base letters were cut out of old folders from a business twice and glued together for more thickness. The patern paper was designed by me in my pazzles software and the solid cardstock is American Crafts, Ribbon is from Michaels and the hanging charms were a garagesale find. The little blue flowers were made on the pazzles and the butterfly was purchesed at my local scrapbook store. After the retreat I will show all the pages as I want to put pictures in before I do the fine details inside.

Acrylic Block Holder

So I needed something cute to hold my acrylic blocks on my workspace and this is what I came up with. Its one of those dollar recipes boxes from Michaels and took off the top then I covered it with DCWV Lemon Flower Stack and then colored some lace trim with stampin ups Summer Sun reinkers and put it on top. Hot cute did this turn out?

that being said I do sometimes get inspired by some of the cuts I see on other blogs, like a really cute lamp I saw on Marys blog at Cardztv http://cardztv.blogspot.com/ and new I just had to make something similar, Mary used Country life and I made a file on my Pazzles inspiration that looked close and this is the card I made with that file...

Wedding Bouquets

My Friends mom is getting married and needed some help with bouquets for the chairs and the maid of honnor, her colors were fall colors and this is what we came up with...

New Stampin up in colors & seam binding

Ok I have been dyeing seam binding for a while now using my homemade glimmer mist and although its beautiful the color never seems to get dark enough for me.
But now thanks to Christina at http://www.creationswithchristina.com/ who did a video on how to do it with stampin up reinkers the color is awesome so deep and rich and makes me very happy.
