Great Picture

I want to share this great picture of my grandaughter, the scrapbook page is an overlay created with my Pazzles Inspiration Pro software from a class that is taught by Klo Oxford on most sunday nights, then cut out on my inspiration cutter (the best cutter in the world).
How stinkin cute is this both my grandaughter and the overlay.

Obsessed

Ok so I'm obsessed with these foil flowers, as I was using alcohol ink to add color to them I had extra ink on my blending pad so I took a piece of photo paper and colored it the same colors I used on the flowers to make a matching background. I did make a change in the flowers I cut them on my pazzles with a file I vectorised.

Embossed Foil Tape Flowers

This is dryer vent tape or duct repair tape, not to be confused with duct tape they are two different things what I used was shinny thin foil type tape, it has a sticky back and you can get it at your local hardware store. I took it and stuck it to just white cardstock then I cut out My Creative Times 3 flower die, I then ran the flowers through my big kick using the sizzix Holly Swirls embossing folder. I then used alchol ink to add some color and shapped the flowers, glued them together and added a pearl which I also colored with alchol ink, I think they are pretty awesome.

Here are a couple of projects I did with these awesome flowers. First a tag and it was done the same way as the flowers with the repair tape and cut with Emmas tag die. While i was coloring the tag I used the leftover ink on my pad to color a 4 inch doilie to give everything a tone on tone effect.

Here I used an incert for a frame with Tim Holtz distress stain another doilie cut in quarters and several different flowers to make a wall hanging of my grandaughter.

Here is a close-up of the flower

Let me know what you think I really enjoy feed back. If the flower is something you want to learn I can do a video just let me know.

The craftrooms buzzin

These flowers I made with a my creative time die and tim holtz distress ink and recollections regent street paper pack.

This card was cut on the worlds greatest cutter my pazzles inspiration from Klo marathon of classes 2013, thanks Klo for all the fun. Still have to decorate it but I love the scallops and dont want to takeaway from them.

This wordbook was also a project from Klos marathon and it is going to be my grandaughters b-day card once finished, just going to add a few flowers and pics from christmas and a giftcard.

I totally got about 100 of these coasters at a garage sale for like a dollar about a year ago and finaly came up with an Idea for them, I made this wall hanging with the flowers I made and tim holtz distress stain which I have never used and I must say I like it, (gunna do some more).

I really like this tag, tim holtz paint daubers and distress ink, a few of Emmas stamps from my creative time, my pazzles to cut the tag, a doily and I even stamped the dots on the ribbon.

Ok i did it I finally bought my first set of Peachy Keen stamps, OMG I love them. I saw someone did this flower (i don't remember who) but I was a great place for me to start, so with the leftovers from the card I made in Klos class i made this card, I see more Peachy Keen Stamps in my future...shhhh don't tell hubbie.

The background for this card started as a 4x6 piece of photo paper I was trying out my new papercrimper I got for Christmas with. First I put the paper in one way then the other way then back to the first way and did this a few times and got this great pattern, then use stampin ups mellon mambo and tempting turquise inks on it. I think I'll do this backgroung again.

This card background was also photo paper that I did by putting dots of alcohol ink on my craft mat and spraying with alcohol and dipping the paper into. I made several background with this and each one cameout different.

Well as you can see the craftroom has been buzzin, hopefully this is the start to a great crafting year. I do have 2 missions this year one is to purge I just have to much stuff and I'm starting with paper, and the 2nd mission is use what I have, if I start a new project go to my store first.

I'm still alive!

Wow, I can't believe how long its been since I posted. I can't believe i went through the holidays without posting more projects. I do have to say in my defence my house was crazy for the holidays, for the first time in 7 years all my children and grandchildren were here for 2 weeks, I'm pretty sure I made people crazy with my deep seeded need to keep my house clean at all times, kinda hard to do with 9 people living in your house for a week and then 14 people living there for the second week oh yea and have Christmas and New Years but hey my family is awesome and this was just about the best holiday ever. Well the house is back to normal and unbelievably quiet so I think things can get normal in the craftroom now. That being said I hope everyone will forgive me for not posting so much this holiday season. I am working on a few projects that I hope to get done soon like a small hope chest I picked up at a garage sale for 3 dollars and maybe I will finally do moms birdhouse if you watched my craftroom tour you know which one I'm talking about, its been almost 8yrs since she passed and I think it's time.
So Happy Late New Years to all my crafty friends and heres to a year with tons of crafts.

MY Block Project

Here it is, the blocks are 2in blocks, I painted them with Auntique white paint and used up alot of my older papers and stickers that were sitting around doing nothing. All the lettering was cut out on my favorite cutter ever the Pazzles Inspiration and then glittered, flocked or embossed. Most of the decorations were from other projects leftovers, so the whole project cost me maybe 10 dollars as I got the blocks at a garagesale but I cant imagine if you had to buy the wood that it would cost very much. Halloween
Ok heres the trick, just turn the blocks 1/4 of a turn and you have a decoration for the next holiday. Thanksgiving
 Christmas
and finaly New Years, all in one decoration, put it up in Oct. and dont take it down till mid Jan.
Ok let me know what you think, I am very happy with how it turned out and it will be around for many years.
