Wow

Wow I just can't believe its been 6yrs. since I updated this blog. That's just crazy! Well I'm going to keep this post short and I will do updates on my crafty life my regular life {weightloss journey} and my garden life all in separate posts. But for now Happy New Year 2020 to all of you who are still out there just waiting for me to do something on this blog...…..LOL

Pazzles and the Varsity Banquet

I know the pictures were blurry but I was late and in a hurry and forgot my camera so they were taken with my phone under florescent lighting, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Without my Pazzles this job would have taken me months to cut out and the print and cut feature in the new Invue software made it so easy to add our logos to our centerpieces without costing a great deal of money. I did 30 of the centerpieces and 60 of the numbered jerseys all different numbers. The team even got to take the jersey with their number on it home as a keepsake.

I love to make banners and this was a perfect time to make one, add some balloons and table clothes and you have a instant photo spot. Thank you Pazzles for making our banquet a special time in these young mens lives.

Awesome Feature in the New Pazzles InVue Software

 I am really lovin some of the new features in the InVue, like this one, projects with changeable features. How awesome is it to pull up a layout or card all ready to cut and with a few clicks of the mouse make it all you own. Check out this tutorial and see how its done. baby-layout

Print & Cut with the Vue

So I spent the weekend canning the over abundance of tomatoes from our garden. I have canned a lot of thing before but never tomatoes, I always thought the whole pealing tomatos thing was going to be a pain in the tookis, but I was surprised how easy it really was. A few seconds in boiling water then a few seconds in ice water and the skins just wiped off.

I also decided to try my hand at Salsa, something else I have never done and boy did it come out good sometimes I surprise myself. Anyhow I wanted to fancy up my jars for giving and at the same time play with my new toy, my new cutter which you can find here Pazzles Vue So I checked out the new Print & Cut feature and made these awesome tags. I see lots of print & cut in my future. So if you haven't got yourself a New Vue yet here is another reason to do so.
